Industrial Relations
All Security Officers/Crowd Controllers
are covered by the Security Industry (Contractors) Award-State.
Trident Security complies with all new Award
and Superannuation rates and has a reputation within the Union movement for
being fair and honest employers. Trident will always pay the correct requirements
of an award and do not under pay staff. e.g.. if an employee is entitled to overtime
they are paid the correct amount of overtime at the applicable rates.
Our on-site Officers fill in their time sheets at the end of each day worked. The
time sheet will show starting and finishing times and any overtime for each individual
location during the day and the amount of time to be deducted (if any) for meal breaks.
Such measures are in place so as to negate circumstances where a dispute between the
LHMU and Trident could lead to work restrictions, or complete withdrawal of labour
thus causing disharmony amongst workers; and/or prosecution under Statute Law. Harmonious
industrial relations are fostered where possible and potential problems involving
Trident personnel are resolved at an early stage, in co-operation with the LHMU, so
as to avoid embarrassment to Clients.
