Trident Security was established in Queensland on the 1st July 1996 with the aim of providing a Specialised Shopping Centre Security Service.

In executing our Mission Statement, the business endeavours to provide a very personalised service to our Clients. Trident Security specialises in the provision of Shopping Centre Security which comprises of Static Guards, Mobile Patrols, V.I.P. escorts, surveillance and consultative activities.

The Director of the business is Perry Dollar who has been in the Shopping Centre Security Industry since 1994.

Trident Security Qld Pty Ltd holds all relevant Insurance and Security licences as required by the Security Providers Act 1993 and our Clients

All personnel employed by Trident are screened and checked by reference (including checks for any criminal history, together with extensive work history reference checks) to ensure their suitability for the duties they are expected to undertake at Client sites.

All employees must hold valid Security Licences through the Office of Fair Trading in compliance with the Security Providers Act 1993. Trident Security also conducts in-house lectures for its personnel to cover topics such as:

  • Policy directives
  • Conditions of employment
  • Licensing requirements and procedures
  • Rules, regulations, and standing orders
  • Uniforms
  • Roster interpretation
  • Incident reports
  • Radio communications


  • In respect of the Queensland Criminal Code Trident personnel work closely with the Police who assist where possible on legal matters pertaining to the relevant sections of the Criminal code.

    Trident personnel are expected to abide by these Sections as well as other pertinent Sections of the Queensland Criminal Code in conducting their duties at Client sites.
